How we handle information from people who visit this website, get in touch with us, or receive an email from us.

Who we are
Ausculta Cor is a trading name of Winter Shand Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17339504), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZC206342.
For the information you give us through this website, Winter Shand Ltd is the controller. To contact us about your data, email hello@auscultacor.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, work email and company, plus anything else you choose to add (your role, website, contact volumes, message).
- Booking a call: your name, email, the time you pick and your answers to the booking questions.
- Email: your email address and what you write to us.
- Visits: our website host records basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site. We don't use visitor statistics or tracking.
Why we use it
We use it to reply to you, to arrange and hold a discovery call, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services, and, where you ask for a proposal, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Our form service, Formspree
- Our booking tool, Cal.com
- Our email and file storage provider, Google (Google Workspace)
- Our website host, GitHub (GitHub Pages), which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site
- Our business contact database, Apollo.io (see below)
If we emailed you first
We contact a small number of people at subscription and membership businesses whose job involves retention, member services or customer experience. We find their work contact details through Apollo.io, a business contact database, and sometimes on company websites or LinkedIn.
- What we hold: your name, job title, company, work email address and, where available, your LinkedIn profile address. We don't collect personal email addresses or phone numbers.
- Why: our legitimate interest in offering a business service that is relevant to your role. We send a small number of individual emails, not bulk mailings.
- Opting out: reply "no thanks" or email hello@auscultacor.com and we won't contact you again. We keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we don't email you by mistake.
- How long: if you don't reply or we don't start working together, we delete your details after 12 months.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. We have asked Formspree, our form service, to confirm its safeguard under a data processing agreement and will update this notice when it does.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't lead to working together, we delete it after 12 months. If it does, we keep it for as long as the relationship lasts and as required for our accounts.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email hello@auscultacor.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies and doesn't use visitor statistics. The booking page opens on our booking tool's own site, which has its own privacy policy.
If your company becomes a client
Call recordings and transcripts we audit for a client are handled under a separate data processing agreement, where the client is the controller and Winter Shand Ltd is the processor. This notice doesn't cover that data.
